The Snow has Arrived

Leaves fall, a nip is in the air, the animals are covered in a coat of fluff. Autumn is is full swing. It is such a busy time of year with pulling out the harvest, canning the produce, hauling hay and tucking in the yard and flower beds for the winter night.

There is always some project to do. We had some leveling to do in the barn yard and brought in some dirt to raise the floor level of our barn. We do not want the flooding issues like we dealt with last year. Busy, busy, busy, work, work, work. And then, it snows.

The snow seems to put a silent halt on all the fall expectations and the tools are stored away. In a way, it is time for everything to hibernate until the thaw comes again.
