You know summer is upon you when the yard is littered with bicycles. It isn't a bad thing to see them all over the yard, but there comes a point when it would be nice to achieve a little more organization and step away from the thrift store look.
I had reached that point.
We had large pile of lumber scraps left from a project demo we did and I knew I could transform it into something lovely - and useful.
I had an idea as to what I wanted things to look like and after about one hour of work, I had a perfectly functioning bike rack!
It is definitely not perfect and the wood is mismatched, but hey, it serves the purpose well. I suppose if I get super ambitious I could probably spray paint it but until then, I will just smile at how simple it was to solve the messy bike look.
Thrift store look? I think not. Mission accomplished.
